Warrior Fitness Teams Up with VX Pro

I am very excited to announce that my company, Warrior Fitness Training Systems, is now on board as an official sponsor of VX Pro.

I will be working to put together a strength & conditioning program for VX players worldwide and, in the future, to be able to qualify people within the sport as S&C coaches as well.  Needless to say, this will all take some time to implement, but as the saying goes – a journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step.  Here’s to a great first step!

If you don’t know what VX Pro is, you soon will.  This fast-paced, exciting new sport out of the UK is exploding worldwide!  Here’s a quick rundown on how to play:

VX is played with a stick that is somewhat like a two ended lacrosse stick, its played on a squash or racquetball court and there are two versions V2 and V4.

V2 is the 1 v 1 version and V4 is 2 v 2, now like all sports the object of the game is to win by scoring more points than your opponent and to score in VX you have to hit your opponent with a ball, nope its not dodgeball .. unlike dodgeball where if you are hit you have to go off in VX if you are hit you raise your hand and look to the referee who points to you and says “play on” and you are straight back into the game, much better than sitting on a bench waiting to get back on again eh!!!

The target area in VX Pro is the whole body which is why the players also wear a helmet and safety glasses, in the amateur version the target is from the shoulders down to the feet and there is no contact other than being hit with the ball but back to VX Pro.

– from VX Pro the sport of the future

I am very much looking forward to working with the players and coaches to begin implemeting this program.  This is an amazing opportunity and I am honored to be a part of it!
