Awaken The Man

Comfortably slumbering under the influence of the drug that is modern society, the true power of man lies dormant.

Too much of the wrong foods have made him sluggish and their excesses have made him round.

Too much sitting, whether it be in an office laboring behind a keyboard, or on a couch relaxing from that labor in front of a television, has made him weak and brittle.

Too much time indoors has taken the natural healthy glow and replaced it with a pasty, snow white tan gained under the glare of a fluorescent sun.

Too many worries and stresses about how to have more, or keep it, have robbed him of his real sleep and etched artificial lines across his forehead and bags under his eyes.  (Are we still worried about the zombie apocalypse?  Hell, it may already be happening and we don’t even know it!)

Yet with all this, the poor fool doesn’t even know he’s slumbering – he thinks he’s awake!  What’s even more the tragedy is he thinks this is all there is.

Wake Up!

There’s an alarm clock blaring somewhere in your head, sounding a clarion call.  It’s faint and far off, I know, but listen.  Focus.  Hear it.  It gets louder.  The call becomes clearer.  Wake UP!

You just don’t understand

this is how you’re being defined

it’s time to awaken the man

from the din within your mind

– Awaken the Man by Din Within

It’s a simple 3 step process:

1) Free your mind.  Realize that there’s much more than this.

2) Awaken your spirit. Have passion for something, anything!

3) Make fierce your body.  This physical body, our only real possession, is an amazing thing.  Use it.  Test it.  Push the perceived barriers of it and then blow past them.  It’s a shame to waste it.  Move.  Lift something heavy.  Sprint for all you’re worth.  Climb high.  Throw far.  Leap over something.  Crawl under something.  Fight.  Train.  Breath deeply.  Live.

“It’s time to Awaken The Man who hides behind the lies”

Open your eyes.  Really see yourself.  When you look in the mirror are you satisfied with who you are and what you’ve become?  If not, why the hell not?  Do something about it now.  Live with commitment.

Wake UP!

Ready to free your mind, awaken your spirit, and make fierce your body?

(web site not up yet) ……you are amazing Jon. But, I believe that we are all amazing. We all have the gift of life and the capability to do more for ourselves and others. We are all unique, a one-of-a kind; but in common we all have a mind , body and a spirit to take care of. Often due to our busy lives (or for some, not so active lives) we neglect our gifts. It is evident that many put off attention to the needs of their bodies until there is an unfortunate wake up call. A dedicated Fitness Coach like you, is key to creating a shift for those willing to meet the challenge into a highly motivated health and fitness mode. Keep it going.
