15 Ways To Be Awesome In Training

Sometimes we all need a little reminder of our own innate greatness.  Take a minute to read through the list below and watch the video.  Keep these things in mind as you go about your day today.

1.  Put the intensity into your training.  You only get out of it what you put in… it’s self-fulfilling.

2.  Remember that the only limits are self-imposed.

3.  Put as much focus into your recovery as you do your workout.

4.  Recovery is king.  All gains come AFTER the workout, not during.

5.  Corollary to the above – mental toughness gains come during the workout.  See #1 above.

6.  Belly breath, its better.  Inhale deeply into the belly, allow it to expand.  Exhale deeply, allow the belly to contract.

7.  Smile.  Training is hard, but not that hard.

8.  Don’t ever, ever, ever quit.

9.  Motivate thyself.

10.  Motivate others; it will help you motivate yourself.

11.  Be patient, but not passive.

12.  Be persistent, but not a pain.

13.  Don’t take yourself too seriously – be silly!

14.  Don’t hide your greatness; use it to inspire others to reveal theirs as well.

15.  Don’t stop when you’re tired – stop when you’re done!
