A few weeks ago I sent a question out to my email list (HINT – if you haven’t signed up yet, subscribe on the right!) asking what topics they had questions about and wanted to see more blog posts on. Several great questions and suggestions came back. One that was repeated often was the question of motivation – “How do I motivate myself to train more? How do you motivate yourself?”
Here’s my answer to both questions.

October 1, 2014The secret to motivation? Are you paying attention to what is going on in the country and the world?

October 1, 2014Yes, Leonard, I am paying attention. However, not sure what your point is…

October 1, 2014The post wasn’t directed at you personally. My apology if you thought so. My point is that the events in the world and particularly the U.S. call for being as strong and fit as is possible. That is all the motivation anyone should need..
Really though I have never understood why anyone needs to be motivated in the first place. I was merely suggesting an unassailable reason if motivation is needed.
I understand that people look at things differently. There is a difference in mindset and thinking between the east and the west.
Normalcy bias is strong just about everywhere though.
