Although Warrior Fitness has it’s origins in the martial arts, you do not need to be a martial artist to benefit from my program. Since it’s inception, I have continued to test and refine the Warrior Fitness methodology to work with and help almost any level of fitness from couch potato to high ranking martial artist, and everyone in between.
Awaken Your Inner Warrior!
Here are a few examples of how Warrior Fitness can help you to awaken your inner warrior….
- For the father who wants to be in better shape to play with his kids and set an example of a healthy lifestyle that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives,
- for he mother who, after a long day at work wants to de-stress with a brief, but intense workout that won’t leave her exhausted,
- for the businessman who finds his waistline expanding and wants to do something about it,
- for the performer who needs to control her breathing and nervousness before getting on stage,
- for the amateur sports player or weekend warrior who realizes that the daily aches and pains are getting worse as they get older,
- for the regular people who have lives and families and other hobbies and don’t want to spend all day in the gym,
- for the frugal fitness enthusiast who doesn’t want, or can’t afford, the monthly cost of a commercial gym membership, and is looking for a low-tech/high yield approach to fitness,
- for the fitness nut who’s tired of the same old treadmill and is looking for something more,
- And, of course for the martial artist who wants to get back into fighting fit shape while enhancing their martial art’s effectiveness by increasing how efficiently they move…
My objective in sharing Warrior Fitness is to help you meet your goals. I honestly enjoy teaching people and helping them to realize their health and fitness goals; I simply love to see people “get it”. Allow me to help you reclaim your fitness and awaken your inner warrior!

We who are truly warriors appreciate the advantages of physical health and fitness. The word “warrior” comes toting its own preconceived baggage of meaning; suggesting to the “non-warriors”, perhaps, a lifestyle of contention and struggle, violence wrought against violence, cunning and skill pitted against woesome adversaries. Yet life is struggle, the urge to survive and excel against any odds, in whatever situation one may find as we travel this road of life. We are Road Warriors. I’m not talking about misanthropic loners outrunning the feralised humans in their quest for gasoline and cans of dogfood. I’m thinking of the meaning of Tao, as in the path, the road, the way. We walk the road of life, so unless someone has suddenly become a tree, that person, and everyone else, is a road warrior. Kwai Chang Caine (fictional television character) said ” the body is the temple of the soul”. John Lennon said, “you don’t take nothing with you but your soul”. How do we want to carry ourselves (our souls), to all the places we will find ourselves during a life time of travel on the road? Run down abandoned tenement, or exquisite idealised well adorned condo? Perhaps, like most, we dwell in a fixer-upper; well there you go. Room to improve, to strengthen the foundation, enhance the exterior and make sure the interior has well working appliances. Whether you accept that everyone is a warrior of some kind or another, everyone should respect their own “soul cage” enough to want it as fit as possible. Buddhists, Bruce Lee, even Jimmie Ocean believe that it is the tea cup’s ability to hold tea that makes it useful. But wouldn’t you like a well made tea cup?
